I. SUBJECT

These Terms and Conditions regulate the relationship between Alpin Ltd. and the users of the website www.rent-ski.com, regarding the use of the website, making online reservations and payments, and the use of the services offered – rental of ski and snowboard equipment and ski/snowboard school services.

II. PRICES

All current prices for ski/snowboard equipment rental and ski/snowboard school are published on the website in Bulgarian Lev (BGN) and Euro (EUR), including VAT.
www.rent-ski.com reserves the right to change prices in case of changes in the economic environment, without affecting already confirmed and paid reservations.

III. RESERVATIONS FOR SKI/SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT OR SCHOOL

Reservations can be made online at: https://booking.rent-ski.com/en/catalog/search.

• For an online reservation, the customer must pay a deposit.
• The submitted reservation form becomes confirmed only after the deposit is paid.
• For ski/snowboard school reservations, the reservation is not confirmed until confirmed by our team and the deposit is paid. The remaining amount is paid on-site before the service starts.

Meeting point for ski/snowboard school: in front of Hotel Alpin Arena, on the slope in front of Hotel Rila. Customers must arrive at least 10 minutes before the lesson starts.

• If delayed more than 15 minutes, the lesson is cancelled without refund.

IV. CANCELLATION POLICY

1. Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival – deposit fully refundable.
2. Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival – deposit non-refundable.
3. In case of unforeseen health or safety circumstances preventing attendance, the deposit is refundable upon presentation of an official document certifying the reason.

V. LOSS OR DAMAGE OF RENTED EQUIPMENT

1. The customer is responsible for the rented equipment, must use it according to its purpose, keep it safe, and report any damage or theft. Equipment cannot be sub-rented.
2. If damage occurs due to the customer’s fault, they are responsible for repair or replacement costs. In case of total damage, theft, or loss, the customer pays full value. If insured, a police report exempts the customer from payment.
3. Alpin Ltd. is not liable for injuries or accidents resulting from improper use of equipment.
4. No refunds for equipment are provided due to adverse weather conditions or partial closure of slopes.
5. Alpin Ski Depot will refund money if:
   • more than 70% of slopes are closed due to lack of snow,
   • or in case of technical failures or power outages.

VI. PAYMENT

Accepted payment methods: debit/credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro), PayPal, or on-site payment.

• Online payments are secured with SSL encryption.
• Alpin Ltd. does not store card data.
• Payment disputes can be addressed to the bank, PayPal, Consumer Protection Commission (CPC), Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), or the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

VII. PERSONAL DATA AND PRIVACY POLICY

Alpin Ltd. processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.

• Data is used only for reservation management, payment processing, and customer communication.
• Customers have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data.

VIII. LIABILITY

Alpin Ltd. is not liable for:

• errors in customer-submitted data,
• technical problems of the website,
• damages caused by improper use of equipment.
  The provider reserves the right to refuse reservations in case of technical errors or lack of availability.

IX. CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Alpin Ltd. may update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective from the date of publication on www.rent-ski.com and apply to future reservations.

X. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

Bulgarian law applies to all matters not covered in these Terms.

• Disputes are resolved first by mutual agreement, and if not possible, by the competent court in Samokov.
• Customers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
